Cookbooks

A cookbook is one of my favorite projects to take on because every recipe in the book tells part of the same visual story. This kind of narrative photography is where I get to have the most fun. I plan the shot list, pull together the food photography props, style each dish, and create cookbook images that make readers want to dive into that recipe the very same night. If you’re an author or publisher working on a cookbook in Minnesota or the surrounding region, I’d love to hear about it (and yes, recipe testing leftovers are one of the best perks of the job).
